Before acting on anything that affects your money — pensions especially, and inheritance tax without exception — speak to someone regulated who can see the whole picture.
The calculators
A calculator returns arithmetic performed on the figures you type in. If those are wrong or incomplete, the answer is wrong, and we have no way of knowing. Projections rest on assumptions you choose; they are not forecasts and investments can fall as well as rise.
We work hard to keep the calculations correct — the workings are described on methodology — but we do not warrant that the site is free of error, and we are not liable for decisions taken on the basis of it.
Rates and thresholds
Tax rates, allowances and thresholds change. Every such figure on this site carries the date it was taken from its source and the date it is next checked. Always confirm anything material against gov.uk before relying on it.
Using our material
The words, calculators and design belong to Swealth. Quote us with a link. Do not republish articles in full or copy the calculators.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
